Amy is the bride’s younger sister. She’s always looked up to Kara—well, until she finally surpassed her in height, so growing up consisted of trying to live up to the impressive path paved by Kara. She now lives in Minneapolis, so the sibling rivalry has limited itself to the few weeks a year they get to spend together.

Alija and Max met in 2012, through mutual friends. Over the years, their friendship has morphed into a tag team duo of building and creating. Whether it's over a roof, under a car or buried in a boat. Anything that makes Kara question their sanity on a daily basis.

Mallory & Kara met through Michigan rowing, and survived living together their senior year. For some reason, Mallory decided to move in with Kara again, only this time in Oregon. With Kara's help, Mallory found a job at Nike, her husband, and some happiness. Kara continues to be the singular reason that Mallory goes outside, whether that be for lunch, camping, or skydiving. Mallory assumes that the reason that Kara is including her in the bridal party is yet another elaborate ruse to go outside.

Kaylani and Max met in 2010, two wandering spirits who collided into one another. Creating an instant bond, based on adventures that always have music blasting their way. “RUCKUS” (their tagline) was brought to life, which they infamously lived up to taking on the world together. Their friendship transformed into a family bond that continues to grow year after year.

Kara and Julian should've met when they planned to do their database class project. But Julian arrived at the wrong library at the wrong time. In order to placate the tallest woman she's ever seen, Julian invited Kara to steak night at her place and that's where they became fast friends. With Kara's recommendation, Julian now works at Nike where they spend many a nights making a lot more food.

Friends since way back then, when Dom and Max come together sparks fly, quite literally. Fusing friendship and electricity is a testament to their curiosity and creative inventions. Everywhere these two are found, it's knee deep in questionable decisions, steady EDM rhythms and glasses of vodka. I am!

Laura and Kara met in the fall of 2013 through Michigan rowing, and have been menaces together ever since. From the moment they simultaneously mis-sang Beyoncé lyrics on the walk to the dining hall, Laura knew they’d be friends for life. Though only a month apart in age, Kara has been a role model for Laura through the last twelve years for her tenacity, spontaneity, and unwavering commitment to those she loves.

Our 2-year-old ring bearer has the cutest smile, the sweetest disposition, and the best dancing moves! He's thrilled to make Amigo Max an Uncle Max and can't wait to celebrate with Aunt Kara!
